Safe Space Event – Thriving through the Menopause
In the early 1900s, menopause was an end-of-life event. Life expectancy was so short that many women died before or during menopause. Today, it is a mid-life, and mid-career experience. With life expectancy more than 80 years, women can live more than a third of their life post-menopause and for many of those, they can be in employment.
At Becoming, we walk alongside women on the journey of their lives and careers. We know that women are never broken, but are occasionally knocked off track by things that happen to them. Our Safe Space events are an opportunity to explore the ways in which we can enable women to thrive.
This “Safe Space” event explores: Can women’s careers flourish through menopause?
Join us to question, discuss and debate what we can do, as individuals and organisations, to help women thrive in the workplace.
