Safe Space: The power of Psychological Flexibility

Psychological flexibility is the most important enabler of change.

Change programmes don’t stall because leaders lack skills. They stall because leaders react rather than respond.  They revert to old patterns of behaviour.  Leaders lack the tools and approaches that enable them to stay open to their own experiences of change and still take meaningful action.

That capacity is called psychological flexibility, and it is what makes change stick.

So, in organisations facing never-ending transformation and demands for agility, why isn’t this capability being built deliberately?

Join HRDs, Heads of Learning and Heads of Change for our Safe Space Event on Psychological Flexibility – Wednesday 7 October 2026, 1-2.30pm UK

We’ll explore questions like

  • What psychological flexibility actually looks like in leaders under pressure.
  • When and why it is so useful in organisations.
  • How organisations can start building it deliberately, not just hoping for it.

Safe Spaces bring peers together for honest exchange and fresh thinking on the challenges you’re all navigating. You’ll leave with perspective you can take straight back to your leadership teams.  We’ll see you there.
