At Becoming we help women* to take a journey of personal development to live and lead unapologetically.

The women that we work with are skilled, capable women, who have much to offer the board roles that they fulfil.  Sometimes, however, through circumstances or choice, you get knocked or face challenges in your board career.  We know that stepping back on track does not need to involve learning new skills.

Our approach to development is to help women to look within, at the thoughts and feelings that arise naturally in the face of challenge, and at the reactions that shape the choices they make about who and how they are as board members, and in the world in general.

We walk alongside women like you, helping you to step back on track and discover the woman and board leader you were always created to be.

* Please note that we welcome individuals with non-binary and gender-fluid identities and those who identify as women.

The Becoming Journey

The Becoming Journey is a development programme for women. It is an opportunity to explore who you truly are, to know your inherent value and find your purpose as a board leader.

Over the course of four months we walk alongside you, helping you to discover the woman, the leader, that you are.  This programme will equip you with tools to unstick from the challenges that have the potential to knock you off the track of your board career.  It will help you to succeed and thrive in your board roles.

Delivered as a high-quality, flexible, virtual learning journey, we offer you the opportunity for deep personal reflection as well as support, challenge and connection with the other women on the programme. You’ll leave knowing the ripples you want to create going forward.

Handling Conflict Workshop

Our workshops offer a new perspective on challenges that many women face as they establish their career in board roles.

The Handling Conflict workshop will help you handle conflict with courage. It will help you to identify your “firm ground”, where you can stand in the face of conflict and handle the situation in a way that is true to you. Rather than teach a process of conflict resolution, we will focus on you, and how you respond to and handle the conflicts that you face.

Personalised Coaching

Coaching is a unique, individual experience, that focuses specifically on you, your experiences, challenges and aspirations.

Our approach draws on a model of psychological flexibility called ACT, and allows us to work with you on the things that you can control: the choices that you make despite the thoughts and feelings that come up.

Coaching packages are tailored to your needs, but all include a free ‘chemistry’ call to set expectations and establish whether this is the right path for you.
