Becoming Unjudged story of Lea Young

Unjudged®: A story of living with MS from Lea Young

International Women’s Day 2024 explores the theme of #InspireInclusion.  Aligned to that theme, here at Becoming we will be holding an Unjudged(R) event.  Unjudged events are our favourite and most impactful sessions.  They are an opportunity to step into the shoes of another person and see the world from their perspective for a short while.

Unjudged®:  A story of living with MS from Lea Young

Lea completed the Becoming Journey in 2022, and has kindly agreed to share her story of living with MS. Here’s a taster:

In February 2018, Lea fell over, and her life changed.  At the age of 39 she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis – a lifelong and unpredictable condition that has an impact on all areas of her life.

Lea will tell her story of learning to live with MS, from the initial grief for the life she felt she was losing, to the hope of getting pregnant, to the acceptance of who she is today.  Lea’s no-holds-barred story promises to be thought-provoking and challenging.

What might Lea’s story provoke for you?

This event is open to all – you are warmly invited to join by registering here: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZcqcOyorzorH9MLg7L9WG649BYsfA-gVs8z

The event is finished.
