Safe Space: Untangling “busy-ness”
“Busy-ness” – does that term resonate with you? Do you find yourself saying things like: “I’m just so busy at the moment” or “It’s all a bit manic right now”. Or maybe “I have no time to even think” or “I’m craving some time to myself”.
At Becoming, we’ve been hearing a lot of the above, and more, from the women that we speak to. Maybe it is a reflection of our changing world of work? Maybe it links to a stage of career or life for many of the women we work with? Whatever it is, it feels like something worth exploring.
Join us for a Safe Space event – a time for people to come together to explore a thorny issue. No expert input, no pre-prepared answers, simply a space to be together, discuss what is going on, and think about what might be helpful. During this Safe Space, we will explore the knot of “busy-ness”. We’ll think about the internal and external pressures that create “busy-ness” and we’ll question what it would take to untangle from it.
